‘Dry-Pressed Permeable Clay Pavements’ identifies aspects important to the planning, specification and construction of successful permeable clay paver systems.  Permeable pavement systems and their components are introduced and their benefit and limitations identified.  Methods for determining base thickness are reviewed.  Proper material selection and specification is presented, as is construction techniques and potential maintenance pitfalls.  Winter and general maintenance recommendations are made.  Attributes of permeable clay pavers are identified.  Estimated costs of various pavement types are compared.  Three dry-pressed permeable paver shapes are identified.  Completed project photos are included.
